Accessibility
We want this website to be usable by everyone.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Text colours meet the WCAG contrast minimum.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard. A "Skip to content" link appears on the first key press, and focused items are clearly outlined.
- The animated disk on the home page has a Pause animation button. If your device is set to reduce motion, the animation does not play.
- Images carry text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Expandable sections use standard HTML controls that work with assistive technology.
Known limitations
- Links to journal articles lead to publishers' websites, whose accessibility we do not control.
